Sybille Blanjean
Name: Sybille Blanjean
Origin: Verbier, Switzerland
Profession: Student
Sport: Freeride skiing
Sybille Blanjean grew up in Verbier, beneath the Bec des Rosses, where she watched the Xtreme Verbier as a child. A member of an alpine ski club until the age of 12, she then chose the freeride programme that had just been launched in Verbier. To be able to train, she left school and continued her studies at home. Now a graduate, she is working on a second bachelor’s degree in economics. She won the Xtreme Verbier in 2022, in her rookie season on the Freeride World Tour, then the Georgia stop in 2024. A back injury in training kept her out of the 2025 season. She came back in 2026: 2nd overall, with a win at the YETI Alaska Haines Pro.
